Children’s trail race
ABOUT THE CHILDREN'S TRAIL RACE
The inclusion of children in sports and recreational activities is our big novelty. As we witness every year a large number of children eagerly awaiting their parents, running with them, and motivating them in the final meters before the finish line, we have decided to once again provide them with the opportunity to experience the joys of trail running, competition, and having fun running through forest paths, all while their parents tackle segments of 5K, 15K, 30K, 45K, or 60K.
Children from first to eighth grade can participate in the race:
1. Children’s race: 1st and 2nd grade one lap (1.2 km)
2. Children’s race: 3rd and 4th grade: one lap (1.2 km)
3. Children’s race: 5th and 6th grade: two laps (2.4 km)
4. Children’s race: 7th and 8th grade: two laps (2.4 km)
IMPORTANT: Girls and boys start and run together in each children’s race, but separate rankings are maintained – one for girls and one for boys.
There is a limit of 100 children for each children’s race, and the entry fee is free.
MALI PATULJAK (1 LAP)
The course is circular, and the kids will run on well-maintained hiking trails and roads. There are no difficult parts on the trail that children cannot overcome. The start and finish are on the Hunjka meadow (as are the adult races).
The path will be marked with strips and road signs, and stewards will be posted.
